PDP PRIMARIES FAVOURS THE YOUTH CONSTITUENCY.
The saying that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow has really come to play in the just concluded primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State.
The primaries which came with a lot of intrigues, blackmails, propaganda, decisions and counter decisions came to an end with the official release of successful candidates by the leadership of the party through her publicity Secretary, Barrister Ini Ememobong and has vibrant and intelligent youths making the list for the Dec 2nd General elections.
Worthy of mention is Mr. Ekanem Andrew Brown,the candidate for Mkpat enin local Government Area who is a seasoned entrepreneur and a philanthropist who has over the years affected the lives of Mkpat enin people positively.
With his emergence as the candidate for the Dec 2 elections,victory is sure for the party as his good works will speak for him.
Hon Eric Effiong Akpan of Nsit Ibom on the other hand is a five star grassroot mobilizer who has constantly given succour to the his people through empowerment packages for women,elders and youths of the area.
Hon Eric Akpan during his thank you visit which was well attended by the "who is who" in Nsit Ibom politics, promised to do more for the people of Nsit Ibom,stressing that the victory is not about him, but a preparing ground for the actualization of the reelection bid of Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, come 2019.
The youths who are the energy and strength of any political party has been fully represented and if this is replicated at the centre, victory of the PDP will be certain come 2019.
