ICONIC IKON.....THE MAN WITH GOD'S GRACE

Whom God himself has raised up, no man can put down..........Anonymous
Permit me to indulge you a little into the life of a man who is blessed and chosen by God for his people.

At the age of 32, Rt Hon Sam Ikon was appointed as a commissioner in the civil service commission, he did so well that the people of Iman(Etinan state constituency) choosed him to represent them in the state House of assembly.  He was elected the speaker of the 6th assembly and the only one to serve for four years without any impeachment nor chaos. Wisdom and integrity was his lead.

During his time as the speaker of the state House of Assembly, he empowered his constituents to the tune of about one hundred million naira only which was visible in about 60 vehicles, cash grants, start up kits, motorcycles etc. (Story for another day)
He personally signed a payment voucher of about four million, three hundred thousand monthly to some beneficiaries.
No fewer than 200 youths gained employments into different agencies and companies through his recommendation.

His accomplishments endeared him to his people and again, he was choosed to represent Etinan Federal constituency in the National Assembly.  At the Green chambers, he has stood out among the 360 members to sponsor, propose and supported life touching motions that is of immense benefit to his people, some of which include:
● the urgent need for the rehabilitation of Ndiya road linking Mkpat Enin Express road (this is awaiting intervention from concerned agency)
