Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sam Ikon....... A SAVIOUR IN TIME OF NEED

A business without a funding source will flounder under the weight of its own debt.
Coming at the time when the country is in recession, any external funding to a business woman is applauded with a very grateful heart.
Many businesses had collapsed while some were sinking in debts. Expansion of existing businesses became impossible due to low patronage of the already existing businesses.
With the increase of every item in the market coupled with varying expenses that exceeded the income, most market women had sealed off their businesses while the few remaining ones were just being there.
It was on this observation, that the humble Achiever Rt (Hon) Elder Sam Ikon gave succour to market women in Etinan Federal constituency.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Etinan chapter of Market women Association on Friday 25th August 2017, Hon Ikon announced to the women, a trading grant of three million naira only for the 3 chapters of the association in Etinan Federal constituency. This he said will complement the effort of the state Governor in aiding the women to embrace the DAKKADA philosophy of the present administration wholly. He advised the women to use the grant judiciously and wisely.
The women who could not contain their excitement, sprang up singing various songs of praise and thanking God for using Rt (Hon) Sam Ikon to bless their lives at a time they needed help most.
It was indeed a case of when all hope is gone.....A saviour appears.
The President of Market women Association on behalf of the women showed sincere appreciation to the MP for coming to their aid and wished him a happy and more fruitful stay in the House of Representatives beyond 2019.
They also pledged their unalloyed support to the Governor, His Excellency,Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for being a true father of the state and to His wife, Her Excellency Deaconess Martha Udom Emmanuel who has been a strong pillar to the market women Association.
Indeed the mandate of the people of Etinan Federal constituency is working!
