APC Politicians are the most Unreliable and Self Serving

A frontline supporter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Akwa Ibom State, Mr. George Udom has described leaders of the party in the state as the most unreliable and self-serving politicians in the country.

Mr. Udom, who is known for his very vocal and critical views, stated this on his Facebook page, adding that the APC politicians are not interested in winning elections but only using their supporters to get federal appointments.

“Brethren, the APC politicians in Akwa Ibom State are the MOST unreliable, Self-serving characters I've known in the history of local politics in NIGERIA

“In my opinion, they're NOT interested in winning the governorship elections or even the local government elections in the state, if they are, I should be able to know. They're only ready to lead the supporters and the masses blind JUST to be compensated with federal appointments, which they'll in turn immediately abandon their support base and concentrate on ONLY their family members as usual!

“Brethren, this is  NOT what our principal President BUHARI wants for the people of Akwa ibom State. Therefore, the APC members/supporters in Akwa Ibom state, MUST be ready to ask BUHARI just one question once he returns.”
George Udom's comments has further given credence to the reports that the APC in Akwa Ibom is currently in deep crisis that may destroy the party in the state. It could be recalled that recently, a former Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Samuel Effanga defected with about 200 people from the APC to the PDP.



In recent times, George has been actively drumming for the continued support of President Buhari even in absentia. This new turn is what we can't explain but keep our fingers crossed to the developments that will ensue in the days to come.

On an Inspection tour yesterday, the contractor handling the Ibom Super Highway, Ebla Construction Limited with it's foreign partner from China arrived Eket for the inspection tour of the project site. Leading a team of Chinese experts yesterday, the General Manager of Ebla Construction Limited, Mr Adeyomi Adedayo said that the company is ready to commence work as soon as the Ministry of Works hasten the release o f the collateral instrument (ISPO).
