After his return from Medicals in the United Kingdom, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday received a standing ovation from members of the Federal Executive Council-FEC,at the presidential villa Abuja.

Coming at the time when the country is in recession, any external funding to a business woman is applauded with a very grateful heart. Many businesses had collapsed while some were sinking in debts.  Expansion of existing businesses became impossible due to low patronage of the already existing businesses. With the increase of every item in  the market coupled with varying expenses that exceeded the income, most market women had sealed off their businesses while the few remaining ones were just being there.

According to Mr. Ndueso, Sen. Ita Enang lacks the basic knowledge of his job description w hence he had abdicated his job, but instead resort to negative criticism of Governor Udom Emmanuel. Akwa Ibom State Governor’s Media Aide, Mr. Essien Ndueso in a chat with some reporters in Uyo said Ita Enang said Senator Enang has failed in his duties to provide a perfect nexus between the Presidency and the Nigerian Senate. Ndueso expressed dismay at the reported interview in which Senator Enang was all out to discredit Governor Emmanuel even when he acknowledged that the governor had executed several projects for the masses.

The Federal Law maker in his usual manner called for a brief parley with Students leaders from his constituency. The meeting was at his residence at Shelter Afrique Saturday evening.

By Idongesit Uyo Last weekend, one of the President’s liaison officers in the National Assembly Senator Ita Enang briefed the press in his Uyo residence and wooed support of Akwa Ibomites on the premise that Buhari had produced a steller performance in the state. After going through the interview granted by Sen. Ita Enang, one scenario crossed my mind and that is what Sen. Akpan Udoedehe said about Mr. Nsima Ekere. On returning from an official trip to Abuja, Sen. Udoedehe was welcomed at the airport by his supporters. Addressing them, he said among other things that "Nsima asinwong cocaine (Nsima sniffs cocaine). What Udoedehe meant was that nobody should take His Excellency Mr. Nsima Ekere serious because he is a drug addict, therefore his actions and opinion most times are propelled by drugs.

Governor Ayo Foyese is expected to be among the 36 governors meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso rock villa. A tweet on the Presidency’s official twitter handle says the meeting is holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
